On Thursday, September 25, 2025 we open our doors to families for our High School Orientation. This is more than Meet the Teacher, though you will also have an opportunity to attend all of your child’s classes as we run a mini-timetable. We will also have information sessions and club sign-up opportunities throughout the evening. The schedule for the evening is as follows: 

5:00-6:00 – Student Club organizers available on Main Street to share their club information.  

5:15 - 5:45 – Advanced Placement Presentation for Grade 10 families and new students to the AP Program in the Main Gym 

5:15 - 5:45 – Off-Campus Opportunities Presentation in the Theatre  

6:00 – 6:25 – Greetings and Welcome to EMHS Orientation  

6:30 – 8:00 – a chance to rotate through your student's 4-period schedule in 20-minute intervals, meet the teacher, learn about the course, and ask any general questions. 

6:30- 8:00 – Navigating Post-Secondary Applications for Grade 11 and 12 families – presentation sponsored by School Council – Learning Commons 

8:00-8:30 – Robotics Parent Information Session – Learning Commons – for parents of students currently enrolled in Robotics
