March ongoing | Spring Graduation Flower Fundraiser Begins
March 2 – 18 | Graduation Hoodie Sales
March 16 | Graduation ceremony tickets become available. Each graduand must register to confirm participation in the ceremony. Each graduand will also be guaranteed 4 guest tickets. Remaining guest tickets will become available on March 30.
March 16 | Round 1 of Online Graduation Banquet Ticket Sales
March 30 | Round 2 of Online Graduation Banquet Ticket Sales
April 8 | Graduation Ceremony ticket orders due online

Ceremony Information

- Graduation Ceremony fees are inclusive of Grad Gown rental, Graduation Certificate with folder, and Cap with tassels (yours to keep), as well as costs associated with the facility rental. Mandatory Graduation Rehearsal / Grad Gown Pickup at Ernest Manning High School
- Thursday, May 7 (12:30 pm – 3:30 pm)
- It is very important that all graduands participating in the ceremony be at the rehearsal (in our gym) to learn the procedures for the processional/recessional, as well as any last-minute details.
- Students will receive their gowns, v-stoles and their caps at this time.
- It is imperative that students bring their gowns, v-stoles and caps to the ceremony itself on Monday May 11.
Ceremony Ticket Information
- ALL Graduands must log into the on-line system to confirm their attendance at the Ceremony.
- Round 1: Monday, March 16 (4 PM) – Monday, March 30 (4 PM) – Initial 4 guest tickets
- Round 2: Monday, March 30 (5 PM) – Wednesday, April 8 (11 PM) – Additional tickets (if available)
- Graduands WILL NEED a Graduate Ceremony ticket to confirm their attendance.
- Guest Tickets are required to enter the BMO for the ceremony and will be scanned on entry.
- Seating is first come first served. There are no assigned seats for the ceremony.

Banquet Information
- Additional Information on Graduation can be found in our Graduation Information booklet.
- In order to attend the Banquet, ALL school fees must be paid in full by March 16. Please complete payment of fees if not already done so through your myCBE account in PowerSchool. A “Hold” will be placed on purchasing banquet tickets for the student until all fees have been paid. You will not be able to access the ticketing platform.
- This year we will be moving to a different purchasing system for banquet tickets using TipToe. This will be the same system you will access to request Ceremony tickets. Ticket cost: $125.00 per banquet ticket and are non-refundable.
- Round 1: Monday, March 16 (4 PM) – Monday, March 30 (4 PM) – initial 8 tickets
- Round 1: Monday, March 30 (5 PM) – Wednesday, April 8 (11 PM) – unlimited tickets, if available.
- NO tickets will be available for purchase beyond these dates. Please make sure you watch for these dates and have everything prepared ahead of time.

Alberta High School Diploma
All students in Alberta are working towards an Alberta High School Diploma. In order to graduate with this diploma, students must:
- Earn a minimum of 100 credits.
- Complete and meet the standards of the following specified credit courses:
- English 30-1 or 30-2
- Social Studies 30 or 33 (30-1 or 30-2)
- Science 20 or 24 or Biology 20 or Chemistry 20 or Physics 20 (10 credits)
- Mathematics 20P or 20A or 24 (10 credits)
- Physical Education 10 (3 credits)
- Career and Life Management 20 (3 credits)
- 10 credits in any combination from Career and Technology Studies, Fine Arts, Second Languages, Physical Education 20 or 30, K & E Occupational courses or Apprenticeship Program
- 10 credits in 30 level courses in addition to English 30-1 or 30-2 and Social Studies 30-1 or 30-2
Note: For the school’s graduation ceremony in May, Grade 12 students must be enrolled in a program leading to completion of at least 80 credits, and can only be missing one required course.
Alberta Certificate of High School Achievement
The requirements indicated in this chart are the minimum requirements for a student to attain a Certificate of High School Achievement. The requirements for entry into post-secondary institutions and workplaces may require additional and/or specific courses.
- Earn a minimum of 80 credits
- Complete and meet the standards of the following specified credit courses:
- English Language Arts 20-2 or 30-4
- Mathematics 14 or 20-4
- Science 14 or 20-4
- Social Studies 10-2 or 20-4
- Physical Education 10 (3 credits)
- Career and Life Management (CALM) (3 credits)
5 credits in
- 30-level Knowledge and Employability Occupational courses, or
- 30-level Career and Technology Studies (CTS), or
- 30-level Locally Developed course with an occupational focus
AND
5 credits in
- 30-level Knowledge and Employability Workplace Practicum course, or
- 30-level Work Experience course, or
- 30-level Green Certificate course
OR
- 5 credits in a 30-level Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP) course
